Tuesday 21 July - Cara Luft with Hugh McMillan (£8) (reserve tickets)
"a rich roots travelogue whose traditional heart beats with a wholly contemporary pulse spanning the distance between the mists of English folk balladry and Middle East mysticism, through to the Mississippi Delta and the rustic wonders of the Appalachian Hills, with a certain fearless reverence and no small amount of soul." (Ottawa Xpress)

Tuesday 28 July - The House Sisters (£6) (reserve tickets)
A very welcome return from one of our favourite girl bands - a fresh young trio playing traditional and contemporary music from Scotland and beyond. Their thoughtful arrangements combine lovely vocals with fiery fiddles and piano. They play tunes from the Scottish Borders and the rest of Scotland, as well as music from America and Scandinavia and their own compositions. A review of their last visit to LFC can be found by clicking HERE).

Tuesday 4 August - Blackheart (£6) (reserve tickets)
Just 2 years into their collaboration as Blackheart, Welsh singer Chrissy Mostyn and guitarist Rick Pilkington are widely regarded as the fastest rising stars of the new folk generation having become established for both their live concerts and their outstanding debut album ‘Indigo’.

Tuesday 18 August - tbc

Tuesday 25 August - Moe Provencher and Aimee Tubbs (reserve tickets)
A "Provencher’s work is free of the faux-twang affectations that plague other rootsy songwriters: When she and Aimee Tubbs hit those high lonesome harmonies, they sound about as comfortable in their genre as a cowboy in his old boots." -Tizzy Asher, Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Tuesday 1 September - Gerry and Donal O'Connor (£8) (reserve tickets)
Father and son pairing whose fiddle playing roots go back five generations - a display of the very finest the Emerald Isle has to offer
.
